Two bird enthusiasts making a game about birds and teeth.
Premise
Birdteeth is a casual, single-player creature collector where you get to observe, feed, and befriend birds. Train your feathered companions, reshape the world around you, and interact with hidden secrets and puzzles left over from ancient times.
Gameplay
You live in a world with hundreds of creatures you’ve never seen before. They swarm around you in flocks, examining you just as closely as you examine them. Explore various fantastical biomes, discover unique species, and become a bird whisperer.
Feed the birds earn their trust
Befriending a bird is no easy task, get close enough to feed them, but beware of their easily startled nature. Sneak and hide in shrubbery to get a closer look, or simply observe from a distance! With enough of their favorite foods, maybe they’ll even come to you on their own.
Media
High quality assets, icons, and a pdf press kit can be found here.
Upcoming Features
Birdteeth is currently in very early development, but we have so many more ideas planned and in the works. We hope for an early access demo to be released in Q2 of 2026, and continued updates afterwards.
Train your birds
Teach your new friends to follow you and listen to commands. They'll be eager to use their individual skills to help you solve puzzles around the map!
Explore and shape the world
The landscapes have changed drastically over the centuries, but the ancient shrines and artifacts remain. Learn how to wield their forgotten powers to mold the world around you. Perhaps by shaping your environment, you’ll unlock far more secrets than you expect.
More biomes and more species
The world is vast for you to explore. With every step taken there, you seem to discover a new area with new landscapes, landmarks, weather, and most importantly, new birds.
The Team
Stone Quail Games is a Canadian based studio co-founded by two students of Pratt Institute. Though new to the scene, we are eager to release our first production, Birdteeth, and spread some cozy joy to bird enthusiasts like us. Birdteeth will be our senior thesis, but we hope to continue it as a passion project too!
